i finally let go
the obvious possibility
of wanting you to grow
the vivid image of your face
i pushed away in my dream
the movement of your lips
my heart let go with a scream
i watched your shadow walk away
all the things i should have said
i said it all in silence
until its madness in my head
you made me happiest by far
but now you have to move on
for you could be happier
as we wait until dawn
my world suddenly a blur
wanting you back just won't do
remembering how we were
